This qualification is designed to enable you to perform micropigmentation treatments safely and effectively. You’ll learn how to implant pigment into the skin using a specialist device to enhance eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips, providing long-lasting results.

Before enrolling in certain courses, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Students must be 18 years or older

• Have successfully completed a related level 3 qualification (e.g. anatomy & physiology, beauty therapy or access to aesthetics) or a medical qualification, e.g. being a doctor or nurse.

• Self-Directed Learning: Ability to engage in independent study, including e-learning, pre-study assignments, and exams.

• Technology Access: Possession of a functional laptop or desktop computer.

• Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal English skills.

These prerequisites are essential for successful course completion.

• 6 weeks (plus exams and assessment date)
• 1 day per week
• Maximum class size: 4-6 students.

You will also be required to do home-based learning to practice your skills, complete your homework and online assessments as part of this course.

We are committed to making our assessments a supportive and encouraging experience. Our highly experienced tutors will always ensure you are relaxed and confident before undergoing any assessment modules.

• Whilst you are training with us we provide all the materials you will need.
• You will need to purchase the uniform and a home study kit for you to practice with at home.
• You will also need stationery including 1 x A4 folders and dividers to hold for your portfolio evidence and course materials
• You must have access to a PC/laptop to complete the written assignments and any online tasks.

Once certified, you can:

• Work as a Micropigmentation Technician in:

• Beauty salons

• Aesthetic clinics

• Tattoo studios

• Start your own semi-permanent makeup business

• Specialize in eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip enhancements

• Progress to:

• VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser & IPL

• UV40464: Quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector
