VTCT Skills Level 3 Award in Anatomical and physiological knowledge of body systems

This course is suitable for learners (16+) who wish to progress into advanced beauty or aesthetic qualifications. No prior anatomy qualification is required, however learners should have a good standard of English and a commitment to home study and written work.

This course is delivered over a flexible training period combining guided learning and home study. Exact course dates, schedules, and assessment deadlines will be confirmed upon enrolment.

This qualification provides in-depth theoretical knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to support safe and effective advanced treatment practice.

Units typically include:

• Structure and function of the skin
• The skeletal system
• The muscular system
• The circulatory and lymphatic systems
• The nervous system
• The endocrine system
• The respiratory and digestive systems
• Health and safety considerations

Assessment is carried out through written assignments, knowledge-based assessments, and completion of required coursework in line with VTCT Skills qualification requirements.

Courses run regularly throughout the year at Pink Beauty & Aesthetics Academy. With no minimum class size required, learners can begin their training without unnecessary delays.
Dates are flexible.

Upon successful completion, learners can progress onto Level 4 aesthetic and advanced therapy qualifications, including laser, skin, and advanced treatment courses that require underpinning anatomical and physiological knowledge.
